The BBQ party checklist: what to bring and who brings it

A good barbecue runs on the boring items: charcoal, ice, buns, serving tongs. Use this checklist, then let guests claim their share in Zombring so the host is not buying everything.

Split the barbecue in Zombring

  1. Start from the Saturday BBQ template, which pre-fills the usual grill foods, charcoal and ice.
  2. Adjust quantities to your guest count, for example two packs of buns per ten people.
  3. Share the link and let guests claim food, drinks and gear. The host covers whatever is left on the board.

Frequently asked questions

How much food should I plan per person?

A common rule of thumb is about 200–300 g of meat per adult plus sides. Set the quantity for each item in Zombring and adjust as RSVPs come in.

Can guests bring their own dishes?

Yes — add a "guest choice" item and let people claim it, or add whatever they offer to the board.
